Today I write my first ever blog. I have started this blog in the hopes that people can share their techniques and tips on using both the Cricuit and the Gypsy. I purchased my Cricuit in July of 2010 after attending my first scrapbooking retreat. Of course, I just had to have it, it has not disappointed me. I have been in love since the first day I got it. I find that if you search the internet for deals on cartridges you will find them, this will save you from purchasing them at a much higher price in the box stores. Some of my favorite sites are: Oh my crafts, cricuitmachine.com just a few for starters. I would also like to suggest you sign up for the e-mail newsletters, coupons, etc. on these sites as well as the big box sites, you never know what you will get. I am still learning all the features on my Cricuit and will soon share some of my creations. I am still a beginner, ya got to start somewhere, right?
Now on to the Gypsy. I received this as payment for a job I did using my Cricuit, I cut out almost 200 tags for a boutique near me so they may have beautiful gift tags for their customers. I have done the updates and loaded my cartridges. I have cut a design on my Cricuit from the Gypsy. I find I may need a class for this one or I may just be over thinking it. I would love to hear from you any suggestions, tips, ideas from you about the Cricuit or the Gypsy.
